Emery County has been a long time user of Perma-Zyme. This road leads from a major interstate to Emery, UT, so the road sees constant traffic and traffic of all sizes and weights. Emery County constructed the road in the early 2000s. Emery County treated the subbase of the paved road with Perma-Zyme, which provides the road's strength. Emery County then used a few layers of Chip Seal to provide a paved surface. The road has needed a few repairs, and all repairs have been to the topcoat, the subbase treated with Perma-Zyme shows no significant signs of wear.
