Located outside Flint, MI, the town of Atlas, MI, had continuous troubles with this unpaved road in the winter and springtime because of the constant freeze-thaw conditions. The freeze-thaw would sometimes get so bad that the residents could not drive on the road. They would have to walk to their homes. After treating the soil with Perma-Zyme, the issues that were caused by the freeze-thaw were alleviated. The township has had no problems with the roadway since the application of Perma-Zyme.
